Lloyd E. Ranger, 89, of Falmouth, ME, formerly of Cumberland, ME, died August 28, 2023. Lloyd took care of the West Cumberland Methodist Church for about 30 years. He was a quiet faith filled man who could fix anything. He was a wonderful father to his sons, New England and Florida Hall of Famer Bruce Ranger and Dennis Ranger of Georgia. Testimonies from his family, including the New England Hall of Famer Loring Norton clan, and the church congregation attested to what a remarkable man Lloyd was and the impact he had in encouraging them to trust in God.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Harriet Ranger, his first wife and the mother of his two sons, Barbara “Shirley” Ranger (d. 1994), his second wife, Joan Norton (d. 2022), his two brothers, Herbert & Burchard Ranger and his stepson, Dwight Jr. “Skip” Norton.

He is survived by his 2 sons, Bruce (Mary) Ranger (ME), Dennis (Carol) Ranger (GA), stepchildren, Dave (Donna) Norton, Diane Whiley, 3 grandchildren, 9 step grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 12 step great grandchildren.
